Hi everyone! I wrote this blog a few weeks ago but forgot to post it! Enjoy!! 

For ministry in Ecuador, our squad is split up into 3 different locations during the week, & come together during the weekends. I’ve seen it to be such a gift, a glimpse of what is to shortly come when we all split up at the end of this country! 

Well anyways, I have a really close friend who is at another ministry than me during the week. One Friday I texted her saying how I couldn’t wait for her to come home because it had been a hard week and i really missed her. She showed compassion but also called me out on the fact that I hadn’t texted her about any of my struggles during the week. The next thing she texted me was, 

“i wanna know u.” 

This message meant so much to me for a lot of reasons, and was a deep reminder of what “knowing someone” truly means. I also saw she had instant availability to be there for me, so long as i gave her an invitation into that space. 

When we pretend to be fine, why are we surprised that we are not receiving the things we need? When we only share the good stuff and tuck the hard things away, is that truly allowing someone to know us? No! 

So here I am asking myself, and you, this: What have you forgotten to invite God into? Which spaces of your heart are boarded up and hidden from the One who desperately wants to be invited into every circumstance? 

Don’t worry, it’s not too messy. It’s not an inconvenience. You’re worth it. People want to know you. JESUS wants to know you!!!! talk to Him today :))
