During our debrief week in South Africa, we were given the opportunity to go on a safari! It was an experience that I will never forget. With every animal we saw I was so amazed at how beautifully and intentionally made each one was. From birds the size of my palm to elephants bigger than our vehicle, I was so in awe of God and the way He creates. He reminded me to look at all of His creation with eyes of wonder daily. After all, His creation points to who He is(Romans 1:20)!! It is why we feel the way we do when we see safari animals and sunsets and mountains and dolphins jumping in the ocean!!

Let’s not forget that we are His creation, too! His most beloved creation!! We are created IN God’s image to reflect God Himself in all of His righteousness and holiness(Ephesians 4:22-24)!!

Are you viewing yourself in this way? Do you look at yourself with the same awe and wonder you do when you see the sun rising? Do you live as a reflection of the One who created you?

I can not always answer yes to these questions, but the Lord sure does remind me in every way He can. Let Him remind you, too!!

You are His. Don’t forget it!
